ANTONIO CONROY *
architecte REG A / SIA

*is a German-Peruvian architect graduated in 2009 with a Master of Science in Architecture at the Politecnico of Milan with an awarded thesis about opportunities in the informal settlements of Lima, Peru.

Following graduation, he has worked for a year in the academic field as a scientific assistant to Prof. Giovanni La Varra and as a researcher in Stefano Boeri’s Multiplicity Lab.

In 2010 he moved to the south of Chile to work for the art and architecture office Pezo Von Ellrichshausen as a trainee. Back to Europe a year later, he started a two year collaboration at Local Architecture in Lausanne. In 2012 he was also guest critic at the EPFL in Dieter Diez’s studio.

From 2012 to 2018 he worked as an architect and project manager at Andrea Pelati architecte in Neuchâtel. In 2018 he co-founded Concrete and the Woods and since 2019 worked for three years, with a part time contract, at Kunik de Morsier architectes in Lausanne.

Since 2022 he is full time at Concrete and the Woods in Préverenges, a few km west from Lausanne.

Après avoir obtenu son diplôme, il a travaillé pendant un an dans le domaine universitaire en tant qu'assistant scientifique du professeur Giovanni La Varra et en tant que chercheur dans le laboratoire Multiplicity de Stefano Boeri.

En 2010, il s'est installé dans le sud du Chili pour travailler comme stagiaire pour le bureau d'art et d'architecture Pezo Von Ellrichshausen. De retour en Europe un an plus tard, il entame une collaboration de deux ans à Local Architecture à Lausanne. En 2012, il a également été critique invité à l'EPFL dans l'atelier de Dieter Diez.

De 2012 à 2018, il a travaillé comme architecte et chef de projet chez Andrea Pelati architecte à Neuchâtel. En 2018, il a cofondé Concrete and the Woods et depuis 2019, il a travaillé pendant trois ans, avec un contrat à temps partiel, chez Kunik de Morsier architectes à Lausanne.

Depuis 2022, il est à plein temps chez Concrete and the Woods à Préverenges, à quelques kilomètres à l'ouest de Lausanne.
